What's On Tonight (Monday): I'm just Wild about Harry

Via Giphy.

Tonight's Top Pick is Harry Wild, Jane Seymour's sleuth series that's currently in its third season and airs on Acorn TV and BBC America. I wonder if my mother would like it. She was a big Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman fan. On the other hand, I don't think Mom was ever into Murder, She Wrote. Or Matlock.

While I reflect on my mother's idiosyncracies (Falcon Crest was her favorite, for one more example), let's see what else TV has to offer us for Memorial Day, Monday, May 27. All times are EST.

STREAMING
After the Flood, 3:01 a.m., Britbox. First season finale. "Gathering Storm" and "Breaking Cover." "With Pat now a part of her investigation, Jo and Tasha discover an unexpected side to Daniel's life and Jo closes in on the killer. Molly's accident leads to a reconciliation between Jo and Pat and they agree to look into Daniel's murder together." Later, "Jo finally obtains the answers she has long sought, yet the revelation of truth is poised to transform everything profoundly." Two episodes available.

Harry Wild, 3:01 a.m., Acorn TV/9 p.m., BBC America. "The Man Who Murdered Himself." "A fellow P.I., Harry Benedict, inveigles his way into Harry's life by sending a particularly perplexing case her way. As Harry and Fergus attempt to work out how it's possible for a mystery writer to shoot himself in a locked panic room without a gun, they find the key to cracking the case might come from a very surprising source."

The Brokenwood Mysteries, 3:01 a.m., Acorn TV. "House of Screams." "The local scare attraction of the House of Screams becomes the venue for an actual murder when a teenager is found with a sickle through his neck." Season finale next week.
