What's On Tonight (Monday): You know him, you love him, you can't live without him ...
Via Tumblr.
Tonight's Top Pick is David Letterman, making his return to The Late Show as Stephen Colbert's guest. Now that I look it up, late night hosts coming back to their old shows or at least time periods is slightly rare.
IMDB says Steve Allen did 65 episodes of Carson's Tonight Show, three episodes of Late Night and one episode each of Conan and Jay's shows. Jack Paar did three episodes each of Carson and Letterman (and an episode of The Pat Sajak Show!). Carson had his Late Show cameo. Jay's done nine episodes of Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show. Conan did two episodes of Fallon's Late Night and one of his Tonight Show. David's done four episodes of Conan's Late Night, one episode of Fallon's and one episode of Seth Meyers', plus six episodes of Jimmy Kimmel Live and one episode of James Corden's show.
Still, it's David's big return to The Late Show, so phone the neighbors and wake the kids for this one!
While I remember Grand Rapids, Michigan*, having its moment in the sun as a home office for the Top 10 List, let's see what else TV has to offer us for Monday, Nov. 20. All listings are EST. *Nerd moment (as if the above wasn't one already!): Grand Rapids doesn't have a CBS station itself. WWMT is based in Kalamazoo.
