What's On Tonight (Thursday): Sorry, Disney+, the day still belongs to Diane Lockhart

via Gifer

Tonight's Top Pick is the sixth season premiere of The Good Fight, taking a victory lap on Paramount+. In this particular image, Christine Baranski looks just like an aquaintance of mine. Then again, I'm sure there's many women of a certain age emulating La Baranski.

Let's see what else TV has to offer us for Thursday, Sept. 8. All times are EST.

STREAMING
The Good Fight, 3:01 a.m., Paramount+. Sixth season premiere. "The Beginning of the End." "

Pinocchio, 3:01 a.m., Disney+. Premiere. "Academy Award winner Robert Zemeckis directs this live action and CGI retelling of the beloved tale of a wooden puppet who embarks on a thrilling adventure to become a real boy. Tom Hanks stars as Geppetto, the woodcarver who builds and treats Pinocchio (Benjamin Evan Ainsworth) as if he were his real son. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is Jiminy Cricket, who serves as Pinocchio's guide as well as his "conscience." Academy Award nominee Cynthia Erivo is the Blue Fairy. Keegan-Michael Key is 'Honest' John. Academy Award nominee Lorraine Bracco is Sofia the Seagull, a new character. Luke Evans is The Coachman."

Remembering, 3:01 a.m., Disney+. Premiere. "Where do ideas come from? And where do they go when they're forgotten? These central questions are brought to life in Remembering, an original short film by Emmy winning director Elijah Allan-Blitz. The story follows a writer (played by Academy Award winner Brie Larson), who loses a very important idea when her phone rings. Personified as golden light, this lost idea is found by the writer's inner child, who takes its on a journey through The World of Imagination. It is easy to lose touch with this world, but each of us can be inspired by it ... if we just remember."

Welcome to the Club, 3:01 a.m., Disney+. Premiere. "Heart set on becoming a princess, Lisa Simpson is surprised to learn being bad might be more fun."

Cars on the Road, 3:01 a.m., Disney+. Premiere. "Follow Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson) and his best friend Mater (voice of Larry the Cable Guy) as they head east from Radiator Springs on a cross-country road trip to meet up with Mater's sister." Nine episodes total and presumably all available.

Thor: Love and Thunder, 3:01 a.m., Disney+. Streaming premiere of the recent theatrical release.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, 3:01 a.m., Disney+.

Last Light, 3:01 a.m., Peacock. Premiere. "Petro-chemist Andy Yeats (Matthew Fox) knows how dependent the world is on oil; if something were to happen to the world's oil supply, it would set off a chain reaction: transportation would grind to a halt, supplies would cease to be delivered, law enforcement would be overwhelmed. While on a business trip to the Middle East, Andy realizes that his worst fears are coming true and his family is separated at this crucial moment. His teenage daughter, Laura, is alone at home in London while his wife, Elena, and young son, Sam, are in Paris. Amid this chaos, each family member will sacrifice everything to find one another, despite the distance and the dangers that separate them. Based on Alex Scarrow's best-selling novel of the same name." Five episodes available.

Wedding Season, 12:01 a.m., Hulu. Premiere. "The genre-busting series tells the story of Katie (Rosa Salazar) and Stefan (Gavin Drea), who fall for each other at a wedding and begin an affair, despite Katie already having a fiancé. Two months later at Katie's wedding, her new husband and his entire family are murdered. The police think Stefan did it. Stefan thinks Katie did it. And no one knows for sure what the truth is... The series is an action-packed romp across the U.K. and the U.S. as Katie and Stefan go on the run, all while trying to prove their innocence." Eight episodes available.

Pantheon, 3:01 a.m., AMC+. "Reign of Winter."

American Horror Stories, 12:01 a.m., FX on Hulu. Second season finale. "Lake." Guest stars include Alicia Silverstone and Teddy Sears.
