What's On Tonight (Wednesday): Schooled is the king of the world!

Schooled (via Giphy)
How you doin'? Tonight we travel back to the '90s with the William Penn Academy gang of Schooled, a spinoff The Goldbergs and a Top Pick first-timer. Remember: a spinoff of The Goldbergs. I better not see any of you miss that fact when you're on Jeopardy!. This week, the sophomore sitcom turns another page in the Lainey-CB will-they/won't-they as the pop culture tie-in is the '90s landmark Titanic. Elsewhere, the Royal Crown is in so much crisis that the examination is too much for a single network. I'll wait for the dramatization in season nine of The Crown. CBS has its annual celebration of peak-consumerism, Lt. Joe Kenda hangs up his hunting hat, and Netflix offers a fashion show and takes a look at nature at night. I'll never let go, here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, January 29!

💻 STREAMING

Close Enemies ðŸŽ¥ (Netflix, 3 a.m.): A Belgian-French drama import about two childhood friends who end up taking opposite paths.

Next in Fashion (Netflix, 3 a.m.): SERIES PREMIERE. Designers Tan France and Alexa Chung host this competition series that is similar to Project Runway.

Night of Earth ( Netflix, 3 a.m.): SERIES PREMIERE. This nature series explores what wildlife does at night. It probably doesn't concentrate on the critters who sleep.

Omniscient (Netflix, 3 a.m.): SERIES PREMIERE. In this Brazilian import, a woman investigates why a murder was overlooked in a world where drones monitor citizens 24/7.

Wisting (Sundance Now, 3 a.m.): Internal Affairs investigate Wisting, and following his suspension, Torunn heads the investigation into the disappearance of a young woman.

EARLY PRIMETIME

The Casagrandes (Nickelodeon, 7 p.m.): When Ronnie Anne notices that she's the only person Carlitos won't copy, she becomes determined to change it.

Jeopardy! ðŸ’² (Syndicated, check your local listings): Let's go over this again, what show is Schooled a spinoff from? If you said The Goldbergs, please consider taking the Jeopardy test. And don't forget to check out our Jeopardy! coverage.✔️

Will she offer him a spot on the floating door? Principal Glascott uses the season's bad football team to teach coach Mellor how to be both a good winner and a good loser. This is a good show. It hasn't hit any homeruns, but it is entertaining. Plus, I really want AJ Michalka to have success, though having Tim Meadows and Bryan Callen also in the cast is a big advantage.
