What's On Tonight (Tuesday): The Flash Fights On For Freedom On Night Three of CW's "The Crisis On Infinite Earths!"

This Is What's On for December 10th 2019

8:00

NCIS (CBS): CBS has a full night of reruns for the 2nd Tuesday night in a row here- In a rerun of last Christmas's episode--"The team's holiday plans are put on hold when they discover a newborn with no identification or family ties during the course of a murder investigation" (All Hail the NCIS Miracle Baby!) (Now that's got me thinking of a spin-off "NCIS: Babies"---I'd watch that--Hell it worked for The Muppets!)

Ellen's Greatest Night of Giveaways (NBC): "All I Want For Christmas Is Jennifer Aniston" Michelle Obama and Sterling K Brown help Ellen give away gifts to needy people I guess? Its a three night event soooo (shrugs) Oh right Jennifer Aniston is also here as well.

The Masked Singer (FOX): Taking on The Voice directly for i think the first time quite possibly is a special night of costumed singers and horrible, horrible guesses as to who's behind the costumes. "The 6 remaining contestants compete together" (Seriously the guesses the judges make go beyond horrible and into the truly absurd at times---"Is it Ralph Waldo Emmerson under that mask?" "Does he sing?" "I don't really know who he is, I just know the name for some reason")

The Conners (ABC): Dan is disappointed with everyone when all except Becky forget about his birthday (Awww); Darlene faces another issue; Dan excludes Jackie from the family Christmas photo for mistreating Louise. (Louise is Katey Sagal's character yes?)

The Flash (The CW): Night 3! Night 3! Night 3! "Parlich enlists Black Lightning to help stop the Anti-Monitor; Flash-90 shares what he's hearned from his battle in Elseworlds; With the help of Black Lightning, Barry, Cisco, and Frost come up with a plan that could save them all. (But with this only being Part 3--and there still being two parts left yet to come, we all know it probably won't go as hoped for) (Those last two parts btw--are coming in January--sooo savor this because it is the last we'll see of these guys for another month and change--excluding reruns of course)

Leonard Cohen--Tower of Song (PBS): This rerun from May of '18 has a 24 piece orchestra performing Cohen songs with some special guests (Elvis Costello, Diana Krall, other people) from Bell Center in Montreal.

Wrapped Up In Christmas (Lifetime): An 8 year old boy would like Santa to fix his single mom up for some reason. Starring Tatyana Ali, Brendan Fehr, Kim "Tootie" Fields, and Jasmine "Whitley" Guy.

Reunited At Christmas (Hallmark): 2 ex lovers are reunited at um Christmas. (nods) Nikki DeLoach, Mike Faiola, and the wonderfully named Lisa Durupt (Durupt She Cried! Durupt She Screamed! Durupt She Howled! Durupt Went the Nation--Durupt--Durupt I Says!)

8:30

Bless This Mess (ABC):Mike and Rio are thrilled about having their first Christmas alone together as a married couple, but a wrench is thrown into their romanticized holiday plans as they are interrupted by crisis after crisis (sooo the superheroes are descending onto Nebraska eyy?); Kay invites Beau home for Christmas. (Awww, they might finally be making up!) (Also Merry Christmas Bless This Mess!!!)

9:00

FBI (CBS): Merry Christmas FBI! In this non Christmas set rerun ep--the team teams up (heyyy) with members of the FBI Fugitive Dept to track down a person wanted for murder. (I believe this is the episode that serves as the backdoor pilot for the new spinoff show that's starting next month--Starring Julian McMahon)

The Voice (NBC):  Top 8 Artists Performances Results Show Live---3 artists are safe, the bottom 2 will be eliminated, and the middle 3--the middle 3 all have to compete for the judges' "instant save" (You thought you'd be safe in The Middle--but it turns out you were wrong Voice contestants!)

The Moodys (FOX): Episodes 5 and 6--With Christmas quickly approaching, Sean Sr, receives the top honor of being the lector of Midnight Mass; when Sean Sr invites some unexpected guests to Christmas Eve dinner, Ann starts to unravel.  (I believe these are the last two episodes airing of this)

Mixed-ish (ABC): Alicia and Paul strive to maintain their winter solstice traditions from the Commune but their parents want to have a more traditional Christmas with the kids; Alicia's dad competes with Harrison to be the kids' favorite granddad.  (Merry Christmas Mixed-ish!)

"Crisis" Talk (The CW): Kevin Smith hosts another hour dedicated to gabbing about what just happened on the latest installment of the gargantuan Crisis crossover event. ("Talking Crisis!")

The Purge (USA): People will risk it all to settle scores on Purge Night. (Wait--its Purge Night again on this show??? Wasn't the whole setting of this season literally the handful of nights immediately following a Purge Night so they could explore the traumatic after effects that the night could have on some people??? Did they just decide that wasn't working for them so they skipped to the following year already or what???)

Belichick and Saban--The Art of Coaching (HBO): A documentary about the 4 decade long friendship between NFL coaches Bill Belichick and Nick Saban. (Somebody had to be asking for this right????)

Curse of Oak Island (History): Excitement grows when the team discovers a 200 year old stretcher shaft which could lead them directly to The Money Pit.  (I keep telling you guys, I'll just give you my DVD copy of the movie---its really not worth all the effort you're going thru to find an old abandoned copy--its not even Shelley Long's best movie!!!) (Now if you were digging deep to find a copy of Troop Beverly Hills...)

Chopped (Food): 4 previous champs return for a competition including sugar, spice, and a candy cane with an unconventional flavor. (Unconventional huh? I'm gonna guess curry flavored???)

Life Below Zero (Nat Geo): "Winter's End"--The Spring Thaw ushers in a new season and opportunities.  (Will they include opportunities to live live above zero???)

Moonshiners (Discovery): Mark and Digger turn to a former foe to bootleg their popular triple grain shine across county lines; Mark and Huck deploy bear scene to track down an intruder; Mike and Jerry fire up their 24 jar rig only to discover the downside of back pressure. (Ohh those wacky Moonshiners...i would be curious to see how drunk a triple grain moonshine would leave me tho--i'll bet that stuff is lethal!)

9:30

Black-ish (ABC): Dre is thrown off when Pops shows up to the house full of holiday cheer; the whole family gets into the holiday spirit until someone from Lynette's past shows up and threatens to spoil the mood. (Merry Christmas Black-ish!)

Carol Burnett-A Celebration (PBS): This 50th Anniversary Tribute to C. B. features clips, interviews, and testimonies from co-stars. (This is also a rerun from last month)

Green Acres (MeTV): Lisa's uncle comes to the farm for a visit, and brings espionage with him. (The episode is titled "Uncle Fedor") (also espionage is an odd gift to bring someone at Christmas)

10:00

NCIS New Orleans (CBS): And capping off the night of CBS reruns, this rerun from last December has Pride being forced to perform a series of tasks by unknown assailants who are holding CCH Pounder and Pride's dad hostage. (If you remember the events of last season, you know that things don't end well--but hey look its Stacey Keach as Pride's dad!)

Making It (NBC): People are tasked with creating a piggybank in the form of the very item they are saving for, (Is that supposed to irony???);  Then they are asked to tap into their inner child to create a fun and unique bedroom for kids. (You Know...For Kids!!!) Poehler and Offerman provide quips!

Emergence (ABC): Merry Christmas Emergence!!! Jo and Chris must evade the FBI (easy to do when they're on another network) while conducting their own investigation into an elusive group of cyber terrorists; Ed is presented with a cancer treatment that seems too good to be true; a mysterious woman's attempts to reach Piper puts the entire Evans family in danger.  (I feel like that's a sentence i type every week here with this show---the family's efforts to hide Piper put them in danger from someone new each and every week!!!!)

Treadstone (USA): "The Seoul Asylum" (Oh Come On Now!!!!)  Tara gets some answers (while waiting for a runaway train); Soyun has a plan (to want somebody to shove);  Doug prepares for a mission (for "Frustrated Incorporated" no doubt); and Bentley becomes a prisoner again (but he can't even tell us how he feels about it!!!!) (nods)  (These are all Soul Asylum songs I'm referencing in the parenthesis here!) (Remember that "I Will Still Be Laughing" song??? that might be the last time i heard them on the radio--and that was in 98 i wanna say?) (Hey they're still touring apparently!!! I just googled them and touring a bunch of cities in February and March!)

Kings of Pain (History): A dangerous underwater hunt for the potentially deadly Scorpion Fish in the Baja California ocean leads to a toxic sting that puts Adam in danger. (But What About Caveman Rob?!?!?!? Oh Won't Somebody Please Think of Caveman Rob!!!)

Famously Afraid (Travel): In my favorite show to summarize every week--Carson Kessley struggles to renovate his possessed dream home; Christi Lukasiak narrowly escapes an attack from the paranormal in her grandparents' basement; and Fred Williamson (!!!!!!) has a disturbing vision from his past that he must valiantly deal with in order to move forward.  (Fred Williamson really?!?!?!?)

Running Wild with Bear Grylls (Nat Geo): Dave Bautista in the Glen Canyon---Tracking thru the Arizona desert with a certain Guardian of the Galaxy and star of "Stuber" (STUBER!!!)

Christmas Around the Corner (Lifetime): Alexandra Breckenridge revitalizes a small town bookstore just in time for Christmas. (Wouldn't the ideal time to revitalize a bookstore be like prior to Christmas so that people could shop there???)

A Christmas Love Story (Hallmark): Kristin Chenowith stars as the leader of a choir whom widow Scott Wolf's young son joins. Will sparks fly between the two brand name celebs??? You won't need a magic 8 ball to answer this one!

10:30

The Misery Index (TBS): And Finally Tonight we have this holly jolly game show with "Check Out This Sucker!" A Tenderloins' mother comes out to witness a doctor retrieving a live animal from a noose; a fart professional; and someone caught before the act. (whatever that means)  (Also A Fart Professional?!?!?? Holy Moly--I wanna see that guy's business card now---what makes me assume that its a guy--women can be fart professionals too you know--it is 2019 after all!)

WELL THAT'S ALL FOR ME HERE--FART PROFESSIONAL OUT!!!!
