Trump decided that the holidays were as good a season as any to attack California. California, being a state that will never vote for him, will always rank high in places that must be punished. The sad thing is that Trump managed to find an actual fault - rampant homelessness - and has no clue why homelessness is such a problem in California or even the beginning of an idea of how to alleviate that.
