What's On Tonight (Sunday): God save the Queen

The Crown (via Giphy)
Greetings and bow before your queen! With yet a plethora of Sunday options, I went with the premiere of The Crown, now featuring a new cast, including Olivia Colman as yet another monarch. I'll still miss Claire. The season will still pick up where the previous left off. Elsewhere in TV land, Poldark concludes its run (stateside... it wrapped up in the UK some months ago). Leavenworth, Get Shorty, and Hip Hop: The Songs That Shook America are among those that also conclude tonight. Returning is Showtime vet Ray Donovan and not-for-me Adult Swim show Mr. Pickles. Smithsonian rolls out a couple programs that bring some color to early 20th century American and Britain and Alton Brown is back for some tips on turkeys. So feelin' that zing again, wow, here's what's on television for tonight, Sunday, November 17!
