We've got a mixed bag tonight and Wisconsin looks better in my photos than it does on television.

We've got a little more background on the effort to evict the homeless in Milwaukee. Even local bad guy Alderman Bob Bauman seems to realize that this looks bad. Of course Milwaukee is not alone in being clueless about what to do with its homeless population. Squatters in Rome, Italy live in fear of eviction. [WITI] [Al Jazeera]

If Wisconsin wasn't so bad at recall elections Sen. Ron Johnson would be in danger of one. He failed spectacularly to walk back his incrimination of the President and doubled down by attacking the FBI and the CIA. He pledged to retire after this term - maybe this will help him keep his promise. [Daily Beast] [The Hill]

We've got a second Whistleblower on the Ukraine call. This one is skipping the complaint and going strait to the inspector general. [NBC]

Has Trump been told about the other Whistleblower over at the Treasury? Better businessman Al Capone was brought down by his tax returns. A different inspector general at the Treasury is looking into interference and there's action over at the House. [Politico] [The Hill]

Republicans beware: support for impeachment is higher now than it was at this point for Nixon or Clinton. [Axios]

This may not add up to anything but it certainly looks suspicious. A bunch of Republican donors and lackeys were adventuring in Ukraine right when Trump was shaking down the President of Ukraine. both things involved natural gas ventures and Trump has blamed Rick Perry for the phone call. One of those donors gave to Rick Perry. Ukraine is a flat circle. [AP]

The Supreme Court returns with a bunch of reminders of why elections matter - and why who controls the Senate can be more important than who is in the Oval Office. LGBTQ, etc. rights, reproductive rights, what happens to Dreamers and more are on the docket. [Reuters]

Here's some deeper background on why now more than 100 protesters have been killed in Iraq. [Al Jazeera]
