What's On Tonight (Thursday): No Joke, 'Impractical Jokers' Is The Top Pick

Welcome to the last Thursday before next week's premiere week explosion of premieres. There's still nothing on tonight really worth noting but that's gonna change soon! Very soon! (fingers crossed)

8:00

Young Sheldon (CBS): In this hour of back to back rerun episodes we got at first "Sheldon is recruited along with his sister for church fundraising while Mary tries to help Pastor Jeff thru his marriage troubles" (The Sheldon plotline is pretty funny as his fundraising efforts pretty quickly turn towards blackmail and extortion largely thanks to his sister who sees nothing wrong with applying a strongarm tactic to help out the church)  In the second episode "Sheldon tries to invite everyone he knows for a Nobel Peace Prize Awards Ceremony and predictably enough no one is especially excited about watching it with him, you also have Meemaw trying to teach Dr. Sturgis (Wallace Shawn) how to drive" YOUNG SHELDON FEVER!!!!!

Return To Downton Abbey: A Grand Event (NBC): This hourlong retrospect is supposed to get you excited over the upcoming Downton Abbey movie. (shrugs) I don't know why NBC is running an hour long infomercial either--they're not even owned by Universal anymore right????

The Outpost (The CW): Garrett runs into Talon who is now a captive of the Prime Order; Gwynn's lost relation suddenly has a claim to the Outpost throne. (The Outpost has a throne?!?!?!?)

All For Love (Hallmark): Your Hallmark Channel Movie of the night is this one where "After negative reviews and declining sales for her books, an author of romance novels is paired up with her editor's brother for research on her latest books" Starring Sara Rue! (ooh!)

9:00

The Paley Center Presents A Salute To The Good Place (NBC): The title pretty much sums up the contents of this hour, i'm assuming they'll be a sneak peak at next week's season premiere somewhere in there as well as interviews with the cast and creator of the show.

The Death of Phil Hartman (ABC): ABC meanwhile fills two hours of its airwaves tonight with this special look at the last days of Phil Hartman's life and what led to the tragic shooting of him by his wife. (I don't wanna relive this!!!!)

Two Sentence Horror Stories (The CW): Apparently tonight is the show's season finale as we deal with not one, not two, but THREE different short stories being told throughout the course of the show in this special hour long episode. (Special?)

Alaskan Bush People (Discovery): It may be summer but the Alaskan Bush people still need to starve off freezing temperatures apparently.

Gomer Pyle (MeTV): Sgt. Carter can't believe it when he hears that Gomer is being transferred. (You're absolutely right to be skeptical Sgt. Carter)

That's followed at 9:30 as usual by Green Acres with "Spring fever hits the town as Lisa plans a festival celebration" (Celebrate Good Times C'mon! I Will.)

10:00

SVU (NBC): See how the last season ended with a rerun of last May's finale in which Benson is certain that a crime was committed by Rob Miller but can't find the evidence to prove it, and yet he ends up being put on trial anyways????? (That's now how these shows work!)

Impractical Jokers (TRU TV): Q, Sal, Murr, and Joe get their checks bounced by customers who notice unusual changes, then help out coworkers with some peculiar trust exercises, the big loser finds himself balls deep at a carnival game rigged to lose.

Mr. In-Between (FX): Ray solves problems but under no circumstance does he answer questions in this episode entitled "Don't Be A Dickhead" (Nice, also i didn't forget to include this and then edit it in in an attempt to make it look like i didn't forget it in the first place)

Beat Bobby Flay (FOOD): Chef Mika Leon and Chef Michael Bertozzi team up, and then Chef Carla Hall and Modern Family co-star Jesse Tyler Ferguson team up--all in the name of Beating that Bobby!

Knife or Death (Travel): Again with the two hour episodes here????

Hogan's Heroes (MeTV): Hogan tries to stop a German general from stealing French art. (See that Monuments Men??? Hogan got there first!)

As you can tell there's seriously not much tonight but i dunno New TV Season is almost here so Hold On Loosely!
