What's On Tonight (Monday): 9-1-1 Must Fight Off A Massive Tsunami.

Hello Everybody---L'Shana Tovah!!!! Happy Rosh Hashanah!!!!! DIP THEM APPLES INTO HONEY!!!! (What? That's the tradition! That and you listen to the Shofar blow.) Anyways, Here is What's On Tonight September 30th 2019

8:00

The Neighborhood (CBS): When Grover gets into a fight with a bully at school, Gemma feels torn between being a mom and being a professional as the principal of the school. Meanwhile Calvin encourages Marty to stand up to the bully in his life, but after realizing that that bully ends up being Cedric quickly regrets his advice.(CBS? CBS? CBS?)

The Voice (NBC): Blind Auditions Part 3! (Blind Auditions! Blind Auditions! Blind Auditions!)

9-1-1 (FOX): A massive tsunami hits the Santa Monica Pier jeopardizing the lives of Buck and Christopher among many, many others in its path. (Why is this a job for 9-1-1? Shouldn't this be a job for like The Coast Guard or someone?)

Dancing With The Stars (ABC): Dancing to a variety of songs inspired by the celebs' favorite movies. (ok)

Penn and Teller Fool Us (The CW): Season Finale of this summertime program---tonight's magicians include Woody Aragon, Danny Corley, Sinbad Max, and John Walton. (Goodnight John Boy???)

Antiques Roadshow (PBS): Tonight we got a pair of rerun episodes airing back to back--first up the show stops off in Salt Lake City, and then in the 9 o'clock hour, the show stops off at Virginia Beach.

Ancient Aliens---Alien Invasion Edition (History): Exploring Area 52 (!!!!!) This special edition of this venerable show finds them investigating whether Area 51 is just a cover up for an even bigger top secret alien conspiracy holding area. (Why would they call it Area 52 tho? Just cause 52 is the next number up?)

The Flight Before Christmas (Lifetime): This 2015 TV Movie stars Mayim Bialik (hence my spotlighting it) as one of 2 strangers who end up sharing a room at a bed and breakfast when an unexpected snowstorm delays their flight home. (Playing the other stranger is Ryan McPartlin who played Capt. Awesome on the tv show "Chuck")

Under the Autumn Moon (Hallmark): Not to be outdone but Hallmark Channel has a daily movie of its own tonight in this one that features "A woman rediscovering her passion for the outdoors and falling for a ranch owner in the process" Starring Lindy Booth!!!!! (Why hasn't she been on a show in recent years??? I remember finding her quite appealing back in the day!)

8:30

BOB HEARTS ABISHOLA (CBS): In the comedy hit of the season (Ok maybe i'm slightly biased) "Bob waits for Abishola to make the next move, but her Auntie Qiu and Uncle Tunde make it hard for her to do so by stalking Bob." (See? Chuck Lorre and co heard the complaints that the show's premise could seem a little creepy and wrote it into the show's 2nd episode--see Bob is not a stalker damnit!)

9:00

All Rise (CBS): When an ICE agent pursues a defendant in Lola's courtroom, she must fend him off while determining the appropriate sentence for the offender; an undocumented immigrant whose crime was warning people of a grocery store selling spoiled goods stands trial. (The episode's title is "A Long Day's Journey Into ICE" which is perhaps too cute for the subject matter at hand maybe)

Prodigal Son (FOX): As Bright slips into the mind of a serial killer, he must also deal with the repercussions of seeing his father again for the first time in 20 years. (Given that the show's premise has Bright slipping into the mind of a different serial killer each week, i'm assuming that that synopsis is gonna differ each week cause otherwise it'd be the exact same premise each and every week) (Did i mention that LOU DIAMOND PHILLIPS plays Bright's boss here? He Finally Has A Show To Call His Own After Years and Years and Years of Guest Starring On Other Shows!!!!!)

Whose Line Is It Anyways (The CW): Pair or rerun episodes fill out the hour here as we have "Gary Anthony Williams 3" in a rerun from July followed by "Corneilius Smith Jr." in a rerun from last September--September 2018!

The Terror (AMC): Chester and Liz have reached a turning point in their relationship, Amy must take matters into her own hands as she's tormented by a powerful nemesis, and Chester meets a boy who gives him answers. (Are they terrifying answers at least???)

The Deuce (HBO): Lori returns to NYC for an audition and runs into some familiar faces, Candy speaks to her erotics at a Woman Against Pornography meeting, and Alston takes a drastic step for Goldman. Also Vincent and Frankie celebrate an eventful birthday. (SEE I DIDN'T FORGET THE SHOW ONCE AGAIN!!!!)

A Very Brady Renovation (HGTV): Barry Williams joins Lara Spencer and Jasmine Roth to recreate the attic bedroom, Jasmine pulls double duty working on Mike and Carol's master bedroom with Mike Lovkinland. The episode is titled "A Sunshiny Day On Clinton Way" (Did they live on Clinton Way???)

Hunting UFO's and Investigating Alien Hotspots (History): This two hour special travels around the world investigating reports of certain areas experiencing some unusually high level of UFO sightings, and then you got some dramatic reenactments and expert interviews to explore why extraterrestrial activity may be occurring in these specific locations repeatedly. (shrugs) (History? History? History?)

10:00

BULL (CBS): A charismatic entrepreneur is accused of defrauding investors in her seemingly groundbreaking water filtration company. Bull focuses on selecting jurors whose belief systems allow them to see his client as a dreamer who never meant actual criminal intent. (I kinda like the occasional episode where its not a straight up whodunit and is instead more of an "lets see what we can do for this person who may not be as guilty to the degree that they're charged" Some might see those episodes as more of a load of bull tho since its not the kinda case Matlock would've taken)

Bluff City Law (NBC): Elijah and Sydney must put personal feelings aside to help a group of farmers in danger of losing everything to an insidious corporate scheme; Anthony and Jake team up to take on a seemingly light hearted case about a stolen BBQ sauce recipe. (Light-hearted case???)

The Good Doctor (ABC): Dr. Marcus Andrews vows to help a good Samaritan who was injured while stopping a sexual assault; Dr. Audrey Lim faces a difficult decision when a young patient's parents suspect that Dr. Melendez may have made a mistake during a surgery.

POV: "The Silence of Others" (PBS): This Oscar Nominated Documentary chronicles the victims and survivors of General Francisco Franco's dictatorship in Spain, and continue to seek justice 40 years later. (So not the time to trot out the oft quoted SNL joke about General Franco then i'm guessing)

Lodge 49 (AMC): L. Marvin Metz comes to the Lodge with Dud and Ernie in tow; Liz gets a promotion; and Scott goes out for a walk. (nods) (LODGE 49? LODGE 49? LODGE 49?)

COPS (Paramount): A driver escapes a traffic stop and pretends to be a laundromat customer, a young man gets pulled over on his way to a party, and deputies respond to a distressed woman whose boyfriend locked her out of the house. (Nods--COPS IS FILMED IN FRONT OF A LIVE STUDIO AUDIENCE!)

American Dad (TBS): In this rerun ep---Roger breaks up Steve's friendship with Snot, Barry, and Toshi while Jeff realizes he has a flair for house flipping. (nods) TBS! (Followed by the season finale of FINAL SPACE which i realize first ran last week on Adult Swim)

HAVE A GOOD TUESDAY GUYS AND GALS!!!!
