What's On Tonight (Monday): In the Line of Fire

Welcome to the 2026-27 TV season, y'all! Tonight's Top Pick is Line of Fire, debuting at 10 p.m. on NBC. This Cancellation League semi-favorite stars Peter Krause and Hope Davis as the parents of a family with ties to the FBI, U.S. Marshals, Secret Service, and Department of Justice. One of them will turn out to be a mole, I'm sure.

While I wonder if Kash Patel will host a viewing party, let's see what else TV has to offer us for Monday, Sept. 21. All times are Eastern.

Futurama, 12:01 a.m., Hulu. "A New New York Yankee in King Elfo's Court." "A time-machine failure sends Fry sideways in time to a strangely familiar medieval land." Guest voices include Eric André, Abbi Jacobson, Meredith Hagner, and Nat Faxon as Elfo. Season finale next week.

Blue Murder Motel, 3:01 a.m. Acorn TV. "Run For Your Life." "A raucous 30th birthday weekend turns deadly when a motel guest is attacked during a fun run. Her sister, a TV ad actress turned trophy wife, bullies Vinny and Cole into investigating the murder."

TALKIN' 'BOUT TALK (Pre-Primetime Sports has the day off.)

CBS Mornings, 7 a.m., CBS. Bill Gates (his solar farm investments?), Gov. J.B. Pritzker, D-Ill. (his possible 2028 presidential run?), Jeff Probst (Survivor), and James Brown (The NFL Today).

The View, 11 a.m., ABC. Gov. Andy Beshear, D-Ky. (Go and Do Likewise: How We Heal a Broken Country).

Tamron Hall, times and stations vary. Jalen Brunson promotes his SNL hosting gig and his children's book Jalen Plays It All, talks about life since the NBA Finals, and is interviewed with parents Rick and Sandra. Also, Darryl "DMC" McDaniels talks about the Brunsons' foundation for kids, Second Round.

The Voice, 8 p.m., NBC. Thirtieth season premiere. Two hours. "The Blind Auditions Season Premiere." "New coaches Queen Latifah and Riley Green join Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine to discover the next singing phenomenon. The new First-In Button is in play and shakes up the competition."

Line of Fire, 10 p.m., NBC. Series premiere. "Pilot." "A family of law enforcement agents investigate a double homicide involving a U.S. Marshal. A mysterious murder hits close to home, forcing the Hollingsworths to focus on protecting each other as a family."

Name That Tune, 8 p.m., FOX. Sixth season premiere. "Battle of the Icons." "Ice-T and Tony Hawk face off."

Celebrity Weakest Link, 9 p.m., FOX. Second season premiere. "Reality Villains." "Eight of reality TV's most notorious villains lie, manipulate, and betray each other in pursuit of up to $1 million for charity."

All American, 8 p.m., The CW. "Finish Line." "KJ lays it all on the line at the Beverly and Crenshaw showcase. Cassius and Ava worry about KJ's future. Amina clears a path for the future she wants. Coop sets out to right a wrong from her past." Series finale next week. Followed by a Fool Us rerun.
