Outwit, outplay! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, June 10!
Our Top Pick tonight is the premiere of Every Year After (Amazon Prime Video, 3 a.m.). Following The Summer I Turned Pretty, Off Campus, 56 Days, We Were Liars, etc., Prime has carved a niche for itself revolving around young people and soapy romances (and often time jumps) adapted from popular novels. This one kind of reads like a stereotypical Hallmark movie where old flames reconnect and find true love. That is the trajectory, but it expands on the toll returning to a hometown, seeing someone you might not be over, and gives fleshes out the supporting cast. Also, reviews have been quite positive.
Elsewhere, Pearadise gets docuseries treatment, Criminal Record stops the danger, All the Queen's Men still exists, Vox Machina has avoidances, Outlast goes to the jungle, the Brilliant are possessed, and the Bennet Sister has options.
