Tonight's Top Pick is the series premiere of Spider-Noir, starting at 2:30 p.m. on MGM+. It's Nicolas Cage's latest vehicle, marking the live action debut of a nearly 20-year-old spinoff character. Well, when I put it like this, how can you not tune in ...?

Spider-Noir, 2:30 p.m., MGM+. Series premiere. "The story of Ben Reilly (Nicolas Cage), a seasoned, down on his luck private investigator in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life, following a deeply personal tragedy, as the city's one and only superhero." Eight episodes airing. The full season will be available through Amazon at 3:01 a.m. Wednesday, May 27.

Summerwater, 3:01 a.m., Acorn TV. Series premiere. "The Tindalls." "Based on Sarah Moss's best-seller and set against Scottish loch-side cabins, the residents of Summerwater attempt to escape life's problems in the serenity of isolation. However, far from a relaxing retreat, it turns out to be a mysterious all-knowing place where residents are confronted with their deepest desires and darkest truths." New episodes weekly through Monday, June 29.

Dead & Buried, 3:01 a.m., Acorn TV. First season finale. "Cathy and Raymie are devastated to learn of Sally's murder. Michael is arrested and taken in for questioning. Lena quizzes her son Andrew about where he was the night before and divulges to her dad that she fears Andrew could be involved."

You're Killing Me, 3:01 a.m., Acorn TV. "The Wedding." "A guest dies at the wedding Allie is hosting."


TALKIN' 'BOUT TALK (This section goes on summer hiatus after Thursday's listings.)
Today, 7 a.m., NBC. Segments include "The Pope and AI," a look at "The Guardians of Arlington," how to avoid being bitten by mosquitos and ticks, Memorial Day savings, and planting outdoor herbs and plants. Later, Al Roker will go on Susan Powter's final ride as an Uber Eats driver, plus twins who beat addiction and now help others do the same, author-illustrator Jeff Kinney (Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw), a rock paper scissors competition, a "She Made It" segment on a hair accessories company, and how to have an easy holiday party. Finally, Jason Derulo ("Sexy For Me"), honoring service members, Memorial Day cooking, and a performance from Jason.

Live With Kelly and Mark, times and stations vary. Jon Cryer (off-Broadway's The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Kevin Jonas ("Little Things"), and summer entertaining tips from Monica Mangin.

Karamo, times and stations vary. World War II With Tom Hanks, History. Series premiere. Three hours. "The Beginning," "Blitz," and "Barbarossa." "In September 1939, Germany invades Poland, setting the stage for the most destructive war in history." Next, "After toppling the Netherlands and Belgium, Nazi Germany pushes further west. The Allies scramble to support France as Churchill is forced to defend Britain from the skies and FDR rushes to mobilize wartime production."
