 Here are today's contestants:

- Harsha Hebbale, a crash safety engineer originally from Troy, Michigan; and

- Kate Brody, a novelist from Los Angeles, California. Kate is a one-day champ with winnings of $17,599.

DD2 - $2,000 - ADJECTIVES - A person who's this may be perceptive or may dutifully follow religious guidelines (Stephanie lost $4,000 down to $9,600 v. $5,600 for Harsha.)


DD3 - $1,200 - ROMAN GODS & GODDESSES - Originally a grain futures exchange, the Chicago Board of Trade building is topped by a statue of this goddess (Kate lost $6,000 on a true DD vs. $12,400 for Stephanie.)


The game got closer when Stephanie missed DD2, but after Kate's bid to double-up on DD3 failed, Stephanie drew off to a comfortable runaway into FJ at $18,800 vs. $6,000 for Harsha and $2,800 for Kate.

PRODUCE - The name of this fruit commemorates an Australian gardener who died in her 70s in the 19th century


Only Harsha was correct on FJ. Stephanie dropped $2,200 to win with $16,600.


Note that if Kate had been correct on DD3, she would have been close enough in second place to likely take the win with a small bet when Stephanie missed FJ.


Final scores: Kate $0, Harsha $6,381, Stephanie $16,600.


Overvalued clue dept.: $2,000 for knowing the type of hat worn by Charlie Chaplin in the movies was a bowler.
