What's On Tonight (Saturday): An annual set in stone

The Ten Commandments

A seven nation army couldn't hold me back! Here's what's on television for tonight, Saturday, April 4!

Our Top Pick tonight is the annual(ish) presentation of The Ten Commandments (ABC, 7 p.m.). For as many years as it's been broadcasted by the Alphabet network, it's never been Top Pick. Easter weekend is also a slow TV weekend. I love the movie, though the scale feels on another level on the big screen, but at least the TV broadcast isn't the pan-and-scan version anymore. With commercials, the runtime for tonight's movie presentation is 4 hours 44 minutes. (That more than a hour worth of commercials.)

Elsewhere, Jacks both Black and White are Live from New York, sportsballs play final fours, Mao meets a schoolgirl, Rooster finds a demon-ruled city, a root beer float is murderous, Connie and Larry Van Oosten get Lifetime movie treatment, and One Piece has a shocker.
