For the second straight week, NCIS is the Tuesday Top Pick. There's a good-ish reason for the repeat: NCIS is airing its 500th episode. Once again, let's go to the numbers for scripted series: Law & Order has aired 538 episodes to date, while Law & Order: Special Victims Unit is at 588 episodes, and The Simpsons is at 805 episodes. Grey's Anatomy, with its 463rd episode airing Thursday, is just ahead of Family Guy, currently at 455 episodes. Meanwhile, the Chicago series are all somewhere in the 200s.
