What's On Tonight (Monday): Have a happy, healthy holiday

Courtesy NBC.

Tonight's Top Pick is the fall finale of St. Denis Medical, which currently has beaten out Happy's Place for the honor of NBC's original scripted half-hour situation comedy with the most episodes. SDM's airing its 26th, while HP will air its 24th this week. Mekki Leeper, seen above, is kinda cute.

While I reflect on how SDM and HP could go on and on and on, or both get cancelled in the spring, let's see what else TV has to offer us for Monday, Dec. 15. All times are Eastern.

STREAMING
The Madame Blanc Mysteries Christmas Special, 3:01 a.m., Acorn TV. Special presentation. "While attending an exclusive museum event on Christmas Eve, Jean is asked to verify a rare box once owned by Marie Antoinette. As she inspects the antique, she discovers a ticking time bomb with only an hour and a half before it detonates. When Dom spots a riddle addressed to Jean underneath the bomb, she races against the clock to find the code and stop a deadly explosion."

Midsomer Murders, 3:01 a.m., Acorn TV. "Lawn of the Dead." "Barnaby and Winter investigate when Wilf, a groundsman and referee for Midsomer Deverell's lawn bowling club, is found murdered after a close contest. The detectives uncover deadly rivalries, forbidden romances, and daring village secrets."
