| The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox |
[*insert Green Day joke*]! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, October 1!
Our Top Pick tonight is the finale of The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox (Hulu, midnight). The story of Knox isn't new to the screen. It's been done as both a drama and the subject of documentaries. This 8-episode version got lukewarm reviews, though star Grace Van Patten got high marks. Another thing that stood out was praise for the final episode, which tackles Knox's trying to reintegrate back into society. It's something other tellings haven't done.
Elsewhere, Chicago is One again, Abbott Elementary is back in session, there's a blindsided Morning, vegan mushroom eels are Change, Platonic hits a season wall, we are part Neanderthal, Beavis and Butt-Head seek treasure, Toronto needs a cold case solved, Investigation Discovery is in the murder business, Mark Wahlberg is Dirty, and Kat Dennings is Shifting for more Gears.
(All times are Eastern. All listings are new unless otherwise stated. For more listings, visit The Futon Critic or Gracenote.)
