What's On Tonight (Monday): Into the Shadows

Tonight's Top Pick is the series finale of What We Do in the Shadows, wrapping it up after 61 episodes on FX. It's yet another of the shows that I wish I would have found time to try once while it was new.

While I mull the pros and cons of flat-out scheduling my TV viewing, let's see what else TV has to offer us for Monday, Dec. 16. All times are EST.

STREAMING
The Chelsea Detective, 3:01 a.m., Acorn TV. Special presentation. "Everybody Loves Chloe." "Chloe Carmichael, former pop star and one-time darling of the tabloids, is found dead in her Chelsea mansion flat in the days leading up to Christmas. They first suspect a drug overdose, but forensics soon establishes that Chloe had been drowned in the bath. Max and the team must contend with a string of potential suspects, including her hard-bitten manager, a conniving journalist and a Tory MP. Each of them has a secret connecting them to Chloe, but who was it that killed her?"

Dalgliesh, 3:01 a.m., Acorn TV. Third season finale. "Devices and Desires, Parts I and II." "Kent police search for a serial killer targeting the female employees of a nuclear power station. Dalgliesh arrives to investigate a possible terrorist connection." Later, "The hunt is on for a second killer as the threat to the local community looms larger than ever. Can Dalgliesh unpick a complex web of loyalties before it's too late?" Two episodes available.
