What's On Tonight (Wednesday): Sister fact

Secrets of the Dead

[*laughs manically*]! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, October 9!

Our Top Pick tonight is Secrets of the Dead (PBS, 10 p.m.). It's about the Mozart family, so this should be obvious. Specifically, the eldest surviving child of Leopold and Anna Maria, Maria Anna Mozart, aka Nannerl. Like her younger brother Wolfgang, she was a musical prodigy that dazzled audiences across Europe and debate rages if Wolfgang's earliest compositions are collaborations with her. I sometimes ponder all the wonderful classical music we never got to have because women were kept in the household.

Elsewhere, Abbott is back in session, Bad Monkey gets punishment, Slow Horses come out ahead, Loud House can't date, House of Villains finds a new batch, Nova ponder gravity, and Joe Bob does Friday the 13th.

(All times are Eastern. All listings are new unless otherwise stated. For more listings, visit The Futon Critic or Zap2it.)
