What's On Tonight (Monday): A man who's got his Master's is really someone

Tonight's Top Pick is the two-episode premiere of English Teacher, Brian Jordan Alvarez's new series for FX. I might actually have to give this one a try, as it sounds appealing and I've always had a soft spot for education-centric stories.


While I lament not making Chita Rivera proud, let's see what else TV has to offer us for Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 2. All times are EST.

" A little girl and a young woman go missing years apart and one man, Hadden Clark, is connected to both. In prison, Clark confesses gruesome details of a murderous life after he starts to believe his new cellmate is Jesus Christ." Two episodes available, followed by two Tuesday and the concluding episode Wednesday.

The 1% Club, FOX. "Budget the Luxuries First." "A violinist, a lawyer and a welder are among the contestants competing for $100,000."
