What's On Tonight (Sunday): Titans of Industry

Industry

These are my confessions! Here's what's on television for tonight, Sunday, September 1!

Our Top Pick tonight is Industry (HBO & Max, 9 p.m.). This drama lived its first 2 seasons on Mondays before migrating to Sundays this season. Earlier season of this soapy workplace drama followed young financial grads and mentors as all navigated the cutthroat culture of investment bank Pierpoint & Co. So many vices and secrets. I liked the first season but didn't keep up. It is better for its soapy inter-office politics as there's a lot of behavior that can be discomforting. I hear the show did a revamp with this season, moving the setting and adding new cast, including Kit Harrington, Sarah Goldberg, and Joel Kim Booster.

Elsewhere, NBC drops in on the Paralympics, The Great North still needs to finish its season, Snowpiercer is boobytrapped, Alan Cumming goes Chimp Crazy, a mom seeks her Daughter, and Hollywood Black enters the modern era.
