Naruto: Shippuden |
Can't stop myself, out of control! Here's what's on television for tonight, Saturday, August 31!
Our Top Pick tonight is the finale of Naruto: Shippuden (Adult Swim, 1:30 a.m.). Yes, after more than 10 years, Adult Swim's Toonami programming block reaches the 500th and final episode of the anime. For the last few years, the anime block's Shippuden have been previously unaired dubbed episodes that are also uncut. Good for Adult Swim. While 500 episodes seems like a lot, the series is a follow-up to the classic Naruto, which has 220 episodes. If you wanna be anime-literate, you've got some work to do.
Elsewhere, TV networks love feet and balls, a wife becomes a Dominatrix, the neighborhood is Twisted, a young woman is Head Over Heels, and One Piece tries peace.
