What's On Tonight (Thursday): It's a wonderful night for ESPY/ESPY, ESPY/Who will win?

Via Giphy.

Tonight's Top Pick is The 2024 ESPYS Presented by Capital One and hosted by Serena Williams. Today I learned that the ESPYs are only two years older than the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Also, of all people, Dennis Miller hosted the first ESPYs.

While I hope to someday just be in shape enough to theoretically qualify for an ESPY, let's see what else TV has to offer us for Thursday, July 11. All times are EST.

STREAMING
Tyler Perry's Divorce in the Black, 12:01 a.m., Amazon. Premiere. "Ava (Meagan Good), a young bank professional, is devastated when her husband (Cory Hardrict) abandons their marriage. She's determined to fight until fate intervenes, revealing the wicked deeds that once upon a time sabotaged Ava's destiny to connect with her soulmate (Joseph Lee Anderson)."

The Hungry Games: Alaska's Big Bear Challenge, 3:01 a.m., Peacock. Premiere. "The Hungry Games: Alaska's Big Bear Challenge puts a playful competition spin on the bears of Alaska's Katmai National Park as they bulk up for winter hibernation. Over 150 days, the bears battle the elements - and each other - using brains and brawn to consume three million calories and gain up to 200 pounds in nature's real-life survival show. Unbeknownst to the bears, their progress is being tracked and ranked for a television audience with narration (by Rhys Darby) that combines fascinating facts about bear behavior with clever color commentary."

Mastermind: To Think Like a Killer, 12:01 a.m., Hulu. Series premiere. "To stop serial killers, psychiatric nurse and professor Dr. Ann Burgess must first learn to think like one. With unprecedented access to the mastermind behind the development of modern serial-killer profiling, the series tells Burgess' tenacious story and her compassion for victims which puts her at the center of America's most infamous true-crime cases." Three episodes available.

Teen Torture Inc., 3:01 a.m., Max. Series premiere. "For six decades and counting, this billion-dollar business, the 'troubled teen' industry, has used what it calls 'tough love' as a form of treatment despite numerous deaths, countless suicides, life-altering injuries, and instances of child sexual abuse. Until recently, nobody has been able to stop it. The series follows a recurring band of young survivors and whistleblowers and their harrowing first-hand accounts of extreme abuse and cult-like brainwashing at the hands of these programs, starting a social media firestorm in 2021." Three episodes available.

Sausage Party: Foodtopia, 12:01 a.m., Amazon. Series premiere. "Based off the 2016 animated feature Sausage Party, the series Sausage Party: Foodtopia follows Frank, Brenda, Barry, and Sammy as they try to build their own food society. Original feature film cast members Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Michael Cera, David Krumholtz, and Edward Norton will return. Will Forte, Sam Richardson, Natasha Rothwell, and Yassir Lester are also set to lend their voices to the animated series." Eight episodes available.
