What's On Tonight (Monday): Bye, Bob!

Via Giphy.

Tonight's Top Pick is Bob Newhart: A Legacy of Laughter, CBS' retrospective in honor of their late star. Off the top of my head, the network's done this for Lucille Ball and Mary Tyler Moore. I assume that Dick Van Dyke, Carol Burnett, and maybe even David Letterman will eventually get their due.

While I pour one out over at the Stratford Inn, let's see what else TV has to offer us for Monday, July 22. All times are EST.

STREAMING
Candice Renoir, 3:01 a.m., Acorn TV. Ninth season premiere. "Candice is disciplined for infringing the law when she hid Antoine's amnesia. She's not allowed to take part in any investigations and is told to either end her relationship with her superior or be transferred to the other end of France. She's reduced to performing administrative tasks, sidelined in a tiny ground floor office. Her unit is now headed by a top-notch investigator named Penelope Vallier. But Inspector Renoir has more than one ace up her pink sleeve, as she fights her way back and does her best to kick her rival out of her old office. As for Antoine, Candice takes care to keep a safe distance and sets tons of rules to keep herself from falling for him again. Meanwhile, Sete's Urban Police Brigade finds itself in the eye of the storm, figuratively and literally!"

My Life Is Murder, 3:01 a.m., Acorn TV. Fourth season finale. "The Widows Club, Parts I and II." "Alexa and her brother Will infiltrate an exclusive country club, where a group of wealthy golf widows have the men running scared. Alexa is investigating the murder of Charlie, incinerated in a hyperbaric chamber in the wellness center of the exclusive country club The Southern Isle." Later, "Alexa is on the wrong side of a murder investigation, fighting to clear her own name while avoiding the webs of three Black Widows."
