What's On Tonight (Wednesday): After competing, there are Dishes to do

The Dish with Kish

Please pack your knives and go! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, May 15!

Our Top Pick tonight is the digital short series The Dish with Kish (YouTube & Peacock, 10:15 p.m.). This isn't Top Chef's first aftershow — anyone remember The Top Chef After Show? — but it is by the most entertaining and enlightening — and I think a nice twist instead of making OG Top Chef a Top Pick for an 18th time. In its 21st season, the long-running cooking competition series has a new host in Kristen Kish, an alum and TC champion. She and a fellow guest alum (Gregory Gourdet, Buddha Lo, Amar Santana, etc.) unpack a plate from the episode and often dish on their TC experiences and behind the scenes workings. It is delightful because Kish has chemistry with everyone. She even made Marcel Vigneron tolerable! You also get to meet some producers, including regular appearances from all-star and now-producer Stephanie Cmar.

Elsewhere, Nova examines social media privacy, Ashley Madison gets docuseries treatment, X-Men test mutant-human relations, Harry Hamlin goes to the Kitchen, a Prize is dogsitting, Bariatrics get BotchedAbbott goes on a field trip, pets and zoo animals have been effected by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Pompeii has New DigsGangs get UnitedDark Matter has an invention, and Amazing Race finds new champs.
