Palm Royale |
Total eclipse of the TV! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, April 3!
Our Top Pick tonight is the miniseries Palm Royale (Apple TV+, midnight). Set in 1969 Palm Beach, Kristen Wiig arrives in the city and tries everything be a part of its high society. It sounds nice on paper, but outside of some splendid sets and costumes, the show is messy and tonally all over the place. The cast is top notch: Ricky Martin, Leslie Bibb, Laura Dern, Allison Janney, Carol Burnett, Bruce Dern, Julia Duffy, James Urbaniak, etc.
Elsewhere, Nova will learn from the solar eclipse, the Alien must save Earth, Jared Padalecki is still Walker, PBS begins a Brief History of the Future, Maya Rudolph has more Loot, Grown-ish plays Squid game, The CW goes Unseen, American Horror Story still exists, TLC is presented a Tumor, someone started a Fire, Top Chef discovers how much Wisconsin loves cheese, and Disney+ grants us a Wish.
