What's On Tonight (Wednesday): Call of the Wild

Wild Cards

Save the whales! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, January 31!

Our Top Pick tonight is Wild Cards (The CW / The CW App, Thursday). In this Canadian import, we have a scenario we've seen many times. A police detective is paired with a non-cop and soon sparks fly on an episodic will-they/won't-they journey. In Wild Cards case, the non-cop is a con woman (Vanessa Morgan) seeking redemption. The policeman (Giacomo Gianniotti) also needs redemption after a demotion. If you're into those police procedural/rom-com tropes, this show is probably for you.

Elsewhere, Truman Capote gets into a Feud, Netflix gives Alexander the Great docudrama treatment, Nova goes back in whale history, Blue Lights concludes its freshman year, refugees are attacked in Chicago, Tatian Suarez is Unbreakable, Disney joins the Choir, and Sue Bird goes Places.
