What's On Tonight (Saturday): All Rise for the final verdict

All Rise

Dy-no-mite! Here's what's on television for tonight, Saturday, November 18!

Our Top Pick tonight is the series finale of All Rise (OWN, 9 p.m.). The law drama aired for 2 seasons on CBS before it gave it the ax, where it soon found a second life on OWN, which seemed appropriate with a cast with many people of color and led by Simone Missick as a judge. But airing the series on Saturdays seems like OWN didn't know what to do with it. After a third season spread over 2 years and 20 episodes in 2 parts (so 2 cable TV seasons), the show concludes tonight.

Elsewhere, Jason Momoa is Live from New York again, JFK gets docuseries treatment, Planet Earth travels to the deserts and grasslands, Demon Slayer sleeps on duty, Foo Fighters go to the Limits, Naruto is on a mission, and Miss Universe is crowned.

This Weekend in Pop Culture (9:30 p.m.): What pop culture have you consumed lately? This is our weekly thread for you talk about it.

πŸ•— 8 P.M. EASTERN / πŸ•– 7 P.M. CENTRAL

πŸŽ₯πŸŽ„ Christmas Plus One (Lifetime): Sisters Cara and Amy make a pact to find their soulmates by next Christmas.

Kennedy (History): SERIES PREMIERE. "A chronicle of John F. Kennedy's life, including his youth, ascension into politics, presidency, and his lasting impact on history."

πŸŽ₯πŸŽ„ A Merry Scottish Christmas (Hallmark Channel / Peacock, Sunday): King Scott is not a good person. He is the ruler of the southern Kingdom of MicΓ©, a satellite state of Krampus' Koal Federation. The largely rural kingdom, a long-ago haven for Dark Elves, isn't known as a military power. What it excels in is undercover and off-the-books missions. In Poinsettia Pass, the king puts a bounty out on Clara Stahlbaum, a local nisse, who provided crucial aid to Christmasia forces that prevented its takeover of the pivotal area. She's also a former MicΓ© resident. Scott sends 2 of his best -- Winter Warlock and Frostbite, both his relatives -- to eliminate the targets. Spending the holiday week with the local yulelads, Clara quickly finds herself a target and evading the assassins is a never-ending situation. She isn't trained for this but learns she has a knack for high-octane evading. The local Yulelad Guard offers protection, but that only goes so far against 2 highly trained operatives. They spend 2 days chasing her throughout the Pass vicinity before Clara and a couple guards get them out in the open and finally disarmed. And just as back-up (Jingle Belle!) finally arrives.

Planet Earth III (BBC America & AMC+): David Attenborough explores deserts and grasslands, where extraordinary life survives in unexpected ways, and nature puts on its most dramatic show.

πŸ“Ί Good Times (Catchy Comedy / Peacock, now): Spend the weekend with some Norman Lear classics -- Good Times and All in the Family, which rotate in blocks all weekend. In the evening hours, it's all about the Evans family trying to squeeze by in the Chicago projects. In this episode, A woman asks J.J. to paint a nude portrait of her as a birthday gift for her husband. However, Florida has a hard time understanding why a woman would pose in the nude and why she has to pose in the Evans' apartment.

⭐ All Rise (OWN): SERIES FINALE. As with the show all this season, there's no synopsis from OWN; just an episode title: "Sometimes Truth is Stranger Than Fiction." This probably isn't a crossover with the Will Ferrell-Emma Thompson movie. But what if it is?

Kennedy (History): After the United States joins the war against Nazi Germany and Japan, Jack joins the Navy and is deployed to the Pacific.
