All those efforts by companies to tank the economy seem to be working here in Canada, while the US just keeps merrily chugging along (CBC)
One of those efforts is that companies are still jacking up prices, creating a vicious cycle where inflation comes down sluggishly and companies continue to use high inflation as cover for raising prices. (CBC)
We get a lot of graphic anti-abortion flyers in the mail up here; Canada Post says there is nothing they can do as the flyers are paid for and the content isn't illegal. It's basically a free speech issue and because of this I have my doubts that the by-laws municipalities are looking at to regulate contents of mailers are going to pass muster to a court challenge.
