What's On Tonight (Wednesday): Crime of the north

Spencer Sisters

I spy with my little eye! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, November 8!

Our Top Pick tonight is The Spencer Sisters (The CW, 9 p.m. / The CW App, Thursday). This Canadian crime dramedy follows the criminal adventures of the Spencer Sisters Detective Agency, a mother-daughter (Lea Thompson, Stacey Farber) business — the two are often mistaken for sisters. Every week mom, a popular mystery novelist, and daughter, a former police officer who never got recognition, investigate a crime, slowly make a name for themselves in the private eye business.

Elsewhere, country music has an awards show, The Buccaneers arrive seeking husbands, Nova goes to China, The Morning Show is put to a vote, SurrealEstate gets in a feud, The Santa Clauses returns, Robbie Williams gets docuseries treatment, and hotels are a Fixer Upper.
