Our Top Pick tonight is animated series Strange Planet (Apple TV+, midnight). Based on Nathan Pyle's popular webcomic, the show takes place on an Earth-like planet that's populated with blue beings who discuss everything hyperliterally. An amusing series to be sure with its dry voice delivery and episodic-anthology design, but the shtick of hearing an uber-literal depiction of quotidian life might wear thin fast. It did for me.
