What's On Tonight (Thursday): And Just Like That... it returns!

Via Giphy.

Tonight's Top Pick is the second season premiere of And Just Like That ..., because, for better or for worse, it at least has some buzz to it. I might have to start including highlights from my brother's commentary with these Thursday posts. If I remember right, he disliked Che but was overall tolerant towards Season One.

While I reflect on how my life would be so much better if Kim Cattrall was back in it, let's see what TV has to offer for Thursday, June 22. All times are EST.

STREAMING
And Just Like That..., 3:01 a.m., Max. Second season premiere. "Beyond Carrie and Aidan getting back together, (there's) Charlotte once again reckoning with parenting teenagers (including the newly sexually curious Lily) and broaching the possibility of returning to the work force (having left it decades ago to becomes Mrs. Trey MacDougal)," according to Vogue. "Miranda, on the other hand, is jetting back and forth from New York to LA to be with Che (it appears) not everything is going entirely smoothly for the couple in California." Susan Fales-Hill wrote the first two episodes with Michael Patrick King. Fales-Hill was one of A Different World's best writers, so ... yay!? Two episodes available, then one per week through August 24.

Shelly Mohan (Charlene McKenna) is super mom. Her secret power? Multitasking. She juggles the complex lives and schedules of three kids, ages 10, 11 and 15. Her days are filled with cooking and cleaning, shopping and chauffeuring and somehow manages to have a home-cooked meal on the table by the time her husband Jason (Barry Ward), a Galway Garda detective, arrives home every night. It's chaotic and hectic and mostly thankless but it is a life Shelly is happy with. Downey's Dream Cars, 3:01 a.m., Max. Series premiere. "Robert Downey Jr. loves restoring classic cars. But he's also become dedicated to fighting climate change.
