Ted Lasso |
The only thing we have to fear is not getting Top Pick! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, May 31!
Our Top Pick tonight is possible series finale — and first time in the top spot — of Ted Lasso (Apple TV+, midnight). Making a TV show out of commercial characters didn't work for Cavemen, but it did for Ted Lasso. The immensely positive Kansas coach goes to England to coach Richmond as we watch many lives unravel in various ways within the world of football. I don't think this third season has been incredibly successful in most of its goals, but it remains entertaining. A happy ending for all seems clear, too. The big question is... will this Ted Lasso episode actually end? Or is the runtime ∞? Because that's the pattern runtimes this season have been building.
Elsewhere, Nancy Drew begins the farewell tour, cast and crew talk regrets about American Gladiators, Greg Davies Cleans, Sistas still exists, a divorce party is Platonic, Riverdale suspects Ray Bradbury, FDR leads the country through war, Dave loves Rachel McAdams, and Nora from Queens is in Iceland.
