On the same day as Sandy Hook a black teen, who lived in a mostly white suburb, tried and failed to shoplift. All the merchandise returned. The kid was then held by three men, some of them ex-Marines, in a chokehold, on his stomach until the police arrived. He wasn't breathing and would never recover. Despite several attempts prosecutors never brought them to trial claiming they had no attention to harm. Chokeholds are one of the first things taught in bootcamp. Of course this is all about race.
