What's On Tonight (Saturday): Talking pictures, it's just a fad

Early Warner Bros. movies (The Sea Beast / So This Is Paris / Don Juan / The Jazz Singer)

Order in the court! Here's what's on television for tonight, Saturday, April 1!

Our Top Pick tonight is The Invention of Cinema: Cinema Finds Its Voice (TCM, 11:15 p.m.). The documentary is the classic movie channel's first premiere for the month, a big event month with the entire month of April dedicated to celebrating Warner Bros. 100th. This new documentary examines the innovations that led to Warner's groundbreaking The Jazz Singer.

Elsewhere, Abbott teacher is Live from New York, Academia has secrets, Moses parts the Red Sea, Murdoch finds killer clowns, Hallmark goes to the Maldives, a killers seeks Bodies, college boys play the sportsballs, Bernadette's friends Act their Age, and Night Court gets binge treatment.
