The Doctor Blake Mysteries |
Stay with me! Here's what's on television for tonight, Saturday, January 21!
Our Top Pick tonight is the Aussie drama The Doctor Blake Mysteries (Ovation, 7 & 8:30 p.m.). The crime drama ended more than 5 years ago and could have been seen on your local PBS station or via BritBox. Now it also airs on a linear network. Dr. Lucien Blake (Craig McLachlan) returns home to Ballarat in the late '50s to take over his father's medical practice and role as police surgeon. His eccentric behavior often clashes with locals and receptionist/housekeeper Jean Beazley (Nadine Garner).
Elsewhere, Aubrey Plaza performs Live from New York, Adrian Quesada plays in Austin, the Wedding Veil goes on a honeymoon, Jodi Arias is Bad, the Owl House kids must save Boiling Isles, Yashahime brings the Grim Comet, and the Abyss requires sacrifices for Nanachi.
