What's On Tonight (Saturday): Into the Chibiverse

Chibiverse

And the Emmy goes to! Here's what's on television for tonight, Saturday, September 10!

Our Top Pick tonight is the animation mashup series Chibiverse (Disney Channel, 8 p.m.). This monthly series features characters from various animated Disney Channel shows (Amphibia, Big City Greens, Gravity Falls, The Owl House, The Ghost and Molly McGee, etc.) as they introduce various shorts and interact with one another in skits and shorts. It is similar to House of Mouse.

Elsewhere, Emmys are handed out for lighting design and sound mixing (and so much more!), the Obamas get a picture done, there's Russian interference in an ElectionLupin wants to rip off a cult, and Naruto creates a sandstorm.

STREAMING & EARLY PRIMETIME

πŸ“Ί Galactica 1980 (Tubi, now): Fan outrage upon the cancellation of Battlestar Galactica helped lead the network to greenlight Galatica 1980, which is often just called BSG's second season rather than a separate show. It is a change of setting (the gang lands on Earth in 1980) and not nearly as good as BSG.

πŸŽ₯ House of Chains (Lifetime): Abused, neglected and imprisoned in their own home, siblings hatch a plan to escape from the clutches of their fanatical parents and alert the authorities.

πŸŽ₯ Marry Go Round (Hallmark Channel): Abby is a successful executive who's moving to Paris and planning to marry Edward. Life is perfect until she learns her divorce to her high school sweetheart, Luke, is not exactly official. So she has to kill him!
