What's On Tonight (Saturday): Lies, damned lies and The CW

Would I Lie to You?

I'm stoked. Whatever that means! Here's what's on television for tonight, Saturday, May 7!

Our Top Pick tonight is the American adaptation of the British game show Would I Lie to You? (The CW, 8 & 8:30 p.m.). Hosted by Aasif Mandvi, Matt Walsh and Sabrina Jalees are the team captains, each with a couple celebrities trying to convince the other team a story about their past is true. While I have incredibly little exposure to the original, this American version, while casually entertaining, doesn't rope you in. The issue: the stories aren't often that interesting or eccentric.

Elsewhere, NBC inspires, Cumberbitches watch SNLAmphibia nears its end, Evan Hansen is a bad person, Lupin wants a railway ticket, and Murdoch and company have a merry Christmas.
