What's On Tonight (Wednesday): Loud and Proud

The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder

Happy St. Patrick's Eve! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, March 16!

Our top pick tonight is The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder (Disney+, 3 a.m.), the revival of Disney Channel's groundbreaking and ended-too-early The Proud Family. The animated family comedy follows the Prouds with a POV mostly from 14-year-old Penny. She's got a BFF, an overprotective dad, working mom, grandma, and school friends and enemies. I loved the original but haven't watched this series as upon recent events, I canceled Disney+.

Elsewhere, a Goldberg wants to be young again, the Alien is gonna be a parent, the Conners learn sad news, the Fosters make Good TroubleSouth Park celebrates St. Patrick, Wonder Years learns about prison, Miss World is crowned, Snowfall attacks, and Lilly gets detention.

STREAMING & EARLY PRIMETIME

πŸŽ₯ MASH (HBO Max, now): MOVIE STARS for $100: Robert Duvall felt Sally Kellerman's "hot lips" when he played Major Frank Burns in this 1970 film (28 Oct 1997)

πŸ“Ί The Venture Bros. (HBO Max, now): The long-running Adult Swim series about the incompetent Venture family and their nemeses might have been canceled by Adult Swim, but with some HBO Max assistance, the series will end with a movie that is currently in production. I'm not counting on the movie until 2023, but you never know.
