What's On Tonight (Wednesday): What would you do if ABC sang out of tune

The Wonder Years

I sadly vote to evict! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, September 29!

Tonight is my first Top Pick is The Wonder Years (ABC, 8:30 p.m.) had a good start last week, a new take on the 1988 series with a Black family at the center. This show follows 12-year-old Dean as he navigates a desegregating Montgomery, Alabama, in 1968. Don Cheadle narrates as adult Dean. His dad (DulΓ© Hill) is a big departure from Jack Arnold, a music professor instead of a company supervisor. Like the original, the pilot ended with a kiss, but it was Dean's crush, Keisa, kissing his best friend.

Elsewhere, Jeopardy! Matt goes for win 31, Nova gets high, Chicago Fire goes viral, HGTV embraces HistoryDoogie operates on her crush, Riverdale sings again, Darlene Conner goes on a journey of self-discovery, American Horror Story begins story two, a stranger helps Archer, and Wu-Tang makes a record.
