Nailed It! |
The last Wednesday of 2020-21! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, September 15!
Tonight's Top Pick is the return of the family favorite Nailed It! (Netflix, 3 a.m.). The baking competition show, which is more of an opposite to The Great British Baking Show, as "amateur" bakers try to recreate some masterpieces and clearly don't have the talent or time management. It is entertaining watching them falter. But host Nicole Byer is the delightful glue that holds the Emmy-nominated show together, finding great humor and joy in the continuous stream of failures. And Jacques Torres can be a lot of fun. Plus Wes and his long curls, who deserve more credit.
Elsewhere, Tubi rolls out some BBC shows, Matt Amodio is still good at Jeopardy!, Doogie uses the scientific method, ABC games shows get Whammied for the season, Awkwafina has an imaginary friend, Nate Burleson gets Slimed, lots of streamers have movies, Money Court is closed, and bats have superpowers.
