What's On Tonight (Sunday): Island in the sun

Fantasy Island

And the Emmy goes to... Here's what's on television for tonight, Sunday, September 19!

Welcome to the final night of the 2020-21 television season! We did it everyone! Another year down. [*high fives everyone*]

The final Top Pick of the season is the season (series?) finale of Fantasy Island (Fox, 8 p.m.), which to my surprise is pretty enjoyable. It isn't prestige television or here to help change the TV game, but it is quite pleasant as the fantasy these days doesn't have much in terms of limits. The casting is good, and this is a follow-up to the original series. Island manager Roselyn Sanchez plays Elena Roarke, whose uncle was Mr. Roarke.

Elsewhere, the Television Academy awards the "best" television of the past year, Muhammad Ali gets Ken Burns treatment, Heels celebrates a baby baptism, there's Evil at a fertility clinic, mysterious creatures are among the Dead, CNN Films examines the NRA, Mira returns to Marriage from a business trip, Epix gets into a Fiasco, and Adult Swim supports Teenage Euthanasia.
