Apple TV finally did it: they got a show that makes me want to sign up for a free month so I can binge watch it and then cancel my subscription because I already have enough streaming services already and Ted Lasso just doesn't interest me.  I can't imagine having to adapt any of the books to a TV series unless it's going full anthology.  Regardless it has genre super-god Jared Harris in it so that alone will make it worth my while.

Elsewhere Goliath and The Great British Baking Show return, the former airing it's final season and the latter a shambling zombie of it's former self (that we will all still watch cause it's the best).  Everything else seems pretty uninteresting, which is fine since Doom Patrol returned last night and I am happy to have it back.  In a minute I'm going to publish this monstrosity and check out the season premiere.  I suggest you do the same, although you'll have to write your own monstrosity and find another website to publish it cause this one ain't hiring.  I would consider going elsewhere but the health plan here is magnificent.
