What's On Tonight (Sunday): Welcome to The White Lotus, such a lovely place

The White Lotus

The truth is out there! Here's what's on television for tonight, Sunday, August 15!

Tonight's Top Pick is the season finale of Mike White's freshman anthology The White Lotus (HBO, 9 p.m.). The show takes place at an expensive resort and follows the lives of several messed up people, both guests and staff. The impressive cast includes Connie Britton, Steve Zahn, Alexandra Daddario, and Jennifer Coolidge in an Emmy-worthy role. Seriously, the people are chaos, and I think I love it? Oh, and someone dies. Next season will have a new group of visitors, like The Guest Book! (Does anyone remember that one?)

Elsewhere, Hallmark goes back to Chesapeake, the Dead begins the final season, Showtime arrives at The End, the Arrow does wrestling, Unforgotten captures those responsible (probably?), Wellington hunts anglers, and the Sitcoms about freaks and geeks are bazinga'd.
