The Bold Type |
Heyyyyyy! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, June 23!
Grab a magazine (whatever those are) because tonight's Top Pick is The Bold Type, which wraps up its run next week. It's the story of three attractive young women trying to a career and love in New York City while working at the global women's magazine Scarlett. It had an... amusing first season, though I wasn't the target audience. I bailed during the second, partly for the annoying dramatics and frequent crises and partly for the absurdity for how it viewed the magazine business. Cranking out (maybe) one long-ish story a week at a workplace where you freely come and go as you please?! Gimme a break!
Elsewhere, Kung Fu goes to Canada, Iliza Shlesinger finds a boyfriend, Murphy and Co. are back In the Dark, Dana Carvey visits Conan for his penultimate show, Dave and Benny have a beautiful friendship, Loki is still mischievous, The Blacklist wraps season eight, and Kids stop Saying the Darndest Things.
