Maricopa County is treating the subpoenaed voting machines as poisoned and will acquire all new machines for future elections. They can't guarantee that the old machines weren't tainted by the Cyber Ninjas. The machines aren't even old. Maricopa was halfway through a deal with Dominion so they are likely going to have to pay for two sets of machines until that contract runs out. [AZCentral]

This just raises the question "Why the hell was a statue of Jefferson Davis placed in the US Capitol in the first place?" [NPR]

Trump's lawyers were saying no charges, today they're saying charges against the company but not Trump himself. Me? I'll wait until Cyrus Vance, Jr. has his say before popping anything bubbly. [CBS]

I'm on California's side in this battle. Franko brought up a good counterpoint earlier today and many have noted that the places most likely to be affected are the blue parts of red states. What has been missing from the debate are the state employees of California. Why should California send its employees into harms way? Why should California limit the employees they send to people who are not LGBTQetc.? California isn't stepping on any other state's rights. They are protecting the rights of their own people.
