Year-in-Review: Best TV programs of 2020

Lovecraft Country / Better Call Saul / Ted Lasso / Star Wars: The Clone Wars / BoJack Horseman / The Daily Show with Trevor Noah

Welcome to the What's On Tonight & Pop Culture thread for your best television programs of 2020!

Good riddance to 2020, but it surely produced a few great television shows and/or programs that you loved. There was the final run of Schitt's CreekBoJack HorsemanAgents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Supernatural; some above-average short-lived wonders (Party of Five, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance) and of course many returning series, though nothing was too plentiful this year.

And while the stream of TV shows slowed in the latter half of the year, the well never ran dry. Plus, Quibi started and stopped being a thing. HBO Max became a thing. Peacock became a thing.

Not sure about your 2020 favs? Here is The New York Times, The Atlantic, Vulture, Variety, The AV Club, Rolling Stone, and Vanity Fair.

(Remember when he had one of these at the year's halfway point? Find that here.)

What are the best TV programs you saw in 2020?
