This Weekend in Pop Culture: September 18-20

Welcome to the Weekend in Pop Culture! Let's examine what's coming out in theaters this weekend...

Hey, we actually have movie releases! (for now)

Infidel
A man is captured by the Iranian regime, and his wife sets out to get him back. Produced by convicted felon Dinesh D'Souza, so expect the Iranians to be mustache-twirling evildoers with no nuance.

Also, what was supposed to come out this weekend was "Connected," a family film about technology rebelling (or, "Terminator" for kids!); and "The King's Man," the prequel to the "Kingsman" film series that seeks to outdo "The New Mutants" in being endlessly delayed. "King's Man" is set for February, and "Connected" is TBA.

What have you been watching?
