This is a fantastic sweet heat type jam that is lovely on buttered toast , baked brie, as a glaze on meats etc ...Strawberries were on sale so just picked up 2 pounds to make a quick set preserve (no canning , so not shelf stable ...after it cools down put in refrigerator). Since I had some apples to use up I used that (shredded) instead of powdered pectin.
